Irwin Alexander has been creating innovative and practical Interior Designs since 1985. As a graduate of the State University of New York, with a degree in Construction Technology, Alexander brings knowledge of building construction to his design abilities. His degree ranks him among the elite, few designers with a formal education in both construction and design. Formerly the Director of Operations and a Senior Designer for Project Associates (Los Angeles, CA), Alexander worked on such noted projects as the Inn at the Opera (San Francisco, CA) and the Regent's Beverly Wilshire Hotel (Beverly Hills, CA). Alexander has since designed many residential projects in the Los Angeles area.

In early 2000, Irwin Alexander started his own firm: Irwin J. Alexander Design. "I am Passionate about my work. Our designs not only have to look great, but they must meet our clients' needs as well." Alexander designs architectural elements and also conducts the design and selection of furnishings, colors and material. He is best known for his expertise in architectural and decorative lighting. Irwin Alexander is an Allied Member of A.S.I.D.

Yurika Okamoto

Yurika Okamoto has been working in the interior design industry since 1999. She graduated from The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising with an Associate of Arts Degree in Interior Design. She has experience as both a junior designer and as a renderer with several designers. She was also a design assistant at the Pasadena Show Case house and assisted with the design of the restaurant and office area.

Okamoto joined Irwin J. Alexander Design in February of 2000, shortly after the firm's inception. Since then, she has assisted on several projects and has become an integral part of the team. "I want to continue to increase my knowledge of design and utilize the skills I learned in school." says Okamoto. She hopes to continue to use her design and drawing abilities to become a full designer in the firm in the near future.

Okamoto is fluent in both English and Japanese.
